The state of NY is so close to we folks in the Litchfield Hills, that whenever fishing conditions in our favorite Connecticut streams aren’t just right, we often visit NY to satisfy our need to be out on the water.
The annual Non Resident license fee for NY is only $50 and lasts from the day you get it this year to the day before, next year. For example, if I purchase a NY non-resident license today, September 17th, 2019, it’s valid until September 16th, 2020. We all know not to go in wading during high or stormwater conditions, so before you go, check water conditions here.
